CHARITY WORK
I was honored to collaborate with Restoration Woodshop, a Colorado Springs-based charity dedicated to supporting children in need. Initially focused on building custom furniture for children, they soon realized the importance of providing bedding to complement their handcrafted beds. Thus, the Restoration Woodshop Blanket Brigade was born, creating toddler and twin-sized blankets, bedding, and quilts for children in need. Volunteers piece together quilt tops, and volunteer longarmers finish the quilts. Contributing to this initiative, I provided longarm quilting services for two quilt tops, donating the batting, backing, and binding materials. After completing the quilting and binding, I sent the quilts to Colorado, where they’ll bring comfort to their new owners.
